Beautiful Pregnant Woman Having A Massag

Take care of your body and well-being during and after pregnancy

Pregnancy Massage

Receiving pregnancy massage regularly, especially in the last trimester, is a real opportunity to prepare for your birth experience. Pregnancy massage provides a great way of releasing muscular and emotional tension and is a recommended resource to prepare for birth.

Massage helps your breathing, circulation, and muscle tone and provides a sense of calm – all beneficial to you and your baby!

A monthly treatment from the early weeks of pregnancy until your due date will promote a greater sense of well-being and help keep your immune system strong, your joints supported, and give relief to common pregnancy ailments such as restless legs, lower back pain, and tensed neck, and shoulders.

Postnatal Massage

It is the best way to care for yourself and your baby after birth. As a new mum, you need to take care of yourself while caring for your newborn. Mothers who are delivered naturally or without complications can start their postnatal massage as soon as they are comfortable and ready. If you delivered your baby by cesarean section, it is best to wait for at least 2 weeks after giving birth or when the incision is properly healed before starting postnatal massage sessions. Sessions are usually scheduled weekly for the first 12 weeks postpartum. It can be done with the presence of your baby on a wide massage table or a futon. You can nurse your baby during the massage, to enjoy the connection while being cared for at the same time.
