 MASSAGE IN SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

The massage in schools programme is taught to children aged between 4 and 12. It helps children to destress, self-regulate, learn compassion and empathy, and self-awareness.

It is a consent-based practice that teaches children the importance to recognise their boundaries and respect each other. The child has the right to say no but is asked to stay in the classroom so that next time he may make up his mind and join the massage. It is introduced by massage in school instructors always in a presence of the teacher. We are trauma-sensitive and anxiety-trained instructors and it is important to recognize children's needs and right to opt out of the practice.

Adults do not massage or demonstrate strokes directly on the children. The massage is done over the clothes in a classroom or a gym.
