Sound Bath in Galway – Deep Rest with Gongs & Singing Bowls
Welcome to Sound Magic Ireland, home of trauma-sensitive sound baths in Galway. A sound bath is a guided relaxation and meditation session where you simply lie down, get comfortable, and allow the soothing sounds of gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, handpans, chimes, and melodic instruments to carry you into deep rest.
Unlike other approaches, we do not use crystal bowls. Our focus is on gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, handpans, rav vasts, solfeggio pipes, and other melodic instruments, creating rich layers of sound and vibration that the whole body can feel.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is not a performance or concert. It is a passive meditation and deep relaxation practice that supports the body and nervous system.
-
Sessions last 75 minutes in Galway.
-
You are invited to lie down on a yoga mat (or sit if preferred) with a blanket and pillow for comfort.
-
We begin with a gentle guided body scan or Yoga Nidra, move into the sound journey, and close with a short compassion meditation.
Sound baths are suitable for people of all backgrounds, with no experience needed.
