What Makes This Training Different?

Musical Skills • Facilitation Skills • Deep Listening
• Nervous System Awareness • Trauma-Sensitive • Research-Informed

MUSICALITY

Develop rhythm, flow, dynamics, composition, sound structure and sensitivity—not simply techniques for striking instruments. Learn advanced gong playing techniques and receive an introduction to handpan.

DEEP LISTENING & ATTUNEMENT

Learn to listen to the instruments, the room, the group and your own state, and adjust the session as it unfolds.

TRAUMA-SENSITIVE PRACTICE

Develop the professional judgment and practical skills needed to plan, facilitate and follow up sound bath sessions responsibly, including how to select and use instruments appropriately for different groups, settings and experiences.

NERVOUS SYSTEM AWARENESS

Explore how people may respond differently to sound and how to support regulation without making therapeutic promises. Learn about the anatomy and physiology of the auditory and nervous systems.

INCLUSIVE FACILITATION

Develop an inclusive approach that recognises individual differences, sensitivities and support needs, and learn how to adapt your facilitation for diverse participants.

RESPONSIBLE GROUP FACILITATION

Develop the skills to understand and work with group dynamics, and learn how to support participants appropriately throughout the full sound bath experience—from preparation through facilitation and follow-up.

Why Train With Us?

Training in trauma-sensitive sound bath facilitation in Ireland. Sound Healing course in Ireland

LED BY TWO EXPERIENCED MUSICIANS & FACILITATORS WITH 25+ YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE

Learn from extensive real-world experience delivering sound baths, wellbeing programmes and group experiences in Ireland and internationally. As practising musicians, composers and recording artists, we bring musical listening, creativity and sound quality into our teaching.

MUSICAL SKILLS BEYOND THE BASICS

Go beyond simple playing techniques to develop rhythm, flow, composition and dynamic awareness, so your sessions feel natural, immersive and musically rich.

PRACTICAL, EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Develop skills through supervised practice, observation, feedback, reflection and realistic facilitation scenarios — not theory alone.

HONEST, RESEARCH-INFORMED TEACHING

We explore current knowledge and research critically, question unsupported claims and remain honest about what sound can and cannot do.

EXPERIENCE WITH DIVERSE GROUPS

Our work includes children, adults, neurodivergent participants, mental health organisations, hospices, addiction services, companies, retreats and public events. This extensive real-world experience informs our trauma-sensitive, sensory-aware and inclusive approach to sound bath facilitation.

MINDFULNESS, YOGA NIDRA & GUIDED RELAXATION

Explore mindfulness, Yoga Nidra and guided relaxation techniques that can complement sound baths, and learn how to integrate them naturally and appropriately into your sessions.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

We continue to train, learn, question and refine our practice. Our teaching evolves with developing knowledge, professional standards and participants’ needs, while remaining practical and relevant to real-world facilitation.

ONGOING SUPPORT & MENTORING

Your development doesn’t end when the residential training finishes. You’ll continue to receive mentoring and support as you complete your case studies and develop your practice.

SMALL-GROUP, PERSONAL TRAINING

This isn’t a mass-produced training. We train only 9 students, allowing us to work closely with each person, share our experience openly and give individual feedback and guidance as your skills and confidence develop.

REAL-WORLD PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Learn how to structure and adapt sessions for different environments, including public, corporate and wellbeing settings.

BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE PRACTICE

Practical guidance on developing your work, finding your own approach and creating a sustainable income without compromising your values.

PROFESSIONAL NETWORK & OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates can join a network of trauma-sensitive sound bath providers in Ireland. Those who meet Attune Academy's professional and facilitation standards may have opportunities for referrals, collaboration and future work with us.
